GPR Scanning/Utility Locating
20180115_155237.jpg

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) equipment transmits and receives electromagnetic waves into the ground subsurface or other material and detects interfaces between differing materials. The interfaces between differing materials are identified by changes which occur in the electromagnetic waves. These changes can be voids, reinforcing bars, underground utilities (metal or plastic), conduits, or various other items.

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Applications:

  • Detection and mapping of reinforcing steel within the concrete.  Markings will be color coded based on the depth of the signal reflection (Top/Front and Bottom/Rear Rebar)

  • Detection and mapping of visible Utility Services within Concrete (electrical conduits, plumbing)

  • Detection and mapping of voiding below slab on grade (air gaps between the sub-grade, dirt and the concrete slab)

Utility Locating Applications:

  • Detection of private utilities both interior and exterior of the job site prior to cutting or digging.

Slab Sawing

Slab sawing is acost-effective way of removing concrete floors, sidewalks, or asphalt pavements. Slab sawing is less time consuming than a jackhammer and can make precise cuts without causing damage or stress to the surrounding concrete.

Slab Sawing Appllications:

  • Plumbing and electrical trenches in floors

  • Concrete floors

  • Expansion and control joints

  • Sidewalks and walkways

  • Driveways and roads

Core Drilling

Core drilling is an efficient and accurate method of drilling a wide variety of hard materials—including, but not limited to, concrete, asphalt, masonry, and steel.

Our operators are outfitted to core from 1/2" to 14" diameter on the spot and larger diameters by request.

Coring can be completed in both walls and floors.

Core Drilling Applications:

  • Plumbing

  • HVAC

  • Electrical

  • Telecommunications

  • Anchoring Bolts

  • Concrete Sample Analysis

  • Line Drilling or Stitch Drilling of Openings

Wall Sawing

Wall sawing, also known as track sawing, is the most effective cutting solution for vertical or sloped surfaces made of concrete, reinforced concrete, stone, asphalt, or cinder block.

Wall Sawing Applications:

  • Precision cuts in any vertical or horizontal concrete structure—even those with steep inclines

  • Creating openings through reinforced concrete walls and slabs

  • Construction of wall, doorway, and window openings

  • Various HVAC applications, including wall cutting for ventilation purposes

  • Demolition purposes
